In 1970 after graduating from Davenport Business College and continuing his education at Michigan State University, Rick began his career with South Haven Insurance Services.  Rick's first position with the agency was in customer service and general sales.  

In 1976 Rick was named Executive Vice President and later Rick acquired ownership in the agency and was named President of South Haven Insurance Services.  Rick is well versed in all lines of insurance but his specialty is commerical insurance.  

In 1982 Rick completed the well respected Accredited Advisor of Insurance program AAI and later Rick became a Licensed Insurance Counselor LIC.
